"Toutes les îles sont des arbres" ready to brighten up Port-Louis

post-title

A celebration of boundless creativity... The House of Digital Art (HoDA) in Port-Louis presents "Toutes les îles sont des arbres".

This exhibition highlights a wonderful visual experience in which artists from Mauritius, La Réunion, India, Tanzania and Europe converge to create a vibrant tribute to cultural richness.

Renowned artists

Featuring works by twelve local, regional and international artists, along with several large-scale installations, the exhibition will explore three narrative threads: trees as witnesses to our past, their resilience and intelligence, and the challenges we face. These artists include Max Anish Gowriah Kim Yip Tong and Guillaume Clarisse from Mauritius, Boris Lallemand and Amandine Boyer from La Réunion, Budhaditya Chattopadhyay from India, Aa Noun from Tanzania, and Béatrice Lartigue, Minh Boutin, Tom Lellouche and Gabriel Lester from Europe.

Through its ten brand new digital works in kinetic, sound, immersive and augmented reality, HoDA promises to be a window onto infinite possibilities and a means of questioning our existences while dreaming of a different future.

An immersive experience

Inspired by the words of Mauritian poet Édouard Maunick, this exhibition invites us to reflect on our place in this world, our roots, memory and future generations.

The exhibition invites us to consider our place at the heart of this world and to seize this opportunity to question our interdependence, our roots, memory, life cycles, generational links and our role in this world," says Astrid Dalais, co-founder of HoDA.

"Toutes les îles sont des arbres" awakens the senses, giving way to a kaleidoscope of expressions.
